About The Position
Main Line Health is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Associate to join their team at Main Line Services. This role involves continuous observation and surveillance of patients at risk due to behavioral safety concerns. The Virtual Buddy sitter will staff the video room, conduct physical rounding on admitted patients, provide bedside support as a runner, set up equipment, and assist bedside staff. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient safety and provides avenues for career development, including tuition reimbursement.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
- Provider of BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
Nice To Haves
- Related Healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients due to safety risk related to their behavior.
- Staff the video room.
- Complete physical rounding on admitted patients.
- Provide physical bedside support when functioning as a runner.
- Round on units with admitted patients.
- Set up equipment.
- Support bedside staff.
