Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of technology company clients with ongoing management responsibilities.
• Drive deal processes including loan underwriting, documentation, and closing.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the venture capital ecosystem and Stifel's products and services.
• Pursue opportunities to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
• Attend and curate industry events to represent Stifel and expand network connectivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, accounting, economics or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in venture banking, commercial banking, investment banking, or private capital investing required.
• Advanced knowledge in venture lending, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and venture banking analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
