About the position

The Vice President, Strategy at Highwire Public Relations is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving the agency's strategic function. This position involves collaborating with internal teams and external clients to develop and implement innovative, insight-driven strategies that address business challenges and deliver measurable results. The VP will mentor junior strategists, support new business efforts, and ensure strategic excellence across all client engagements, while fostering a culture of inclusion and empowerment within the team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the EVP, Strategy to develop and implement strategic frameworks that address clients' business challenges.
• Act as a co-leader on key accounts, providing strategic counsel and ensuring successful delivery of client objectives.
• Lead strategic discovery sessions to gather insights and develop solutions that meet client needs.
• Play a key role in the new business process, helping to develop engagement strategies and craft persuasive pitch narratives.
• Mentor and guide junior strategists, helping to elevate their strategic thinking and client engagement skills.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of strategy into client campaigns.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to create strategic frameworks and deliver integrated solutions.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and nurture senior-level client relationships.
• Experience working across disciplines, including digital marketing, creative, and analytics.
• Proven success in supporting new business development and driving growth within existing accounts.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
