About the position

The Vice President of Technology Strategy and Planning at Lennar will collaborate with technology and business leadership to provide strategic decision support, financial forecasts, and drive best-in-class technology development and operations. This role involves overseeing significant initiatives, facilitating strategy creation, orchestrating governance mechanisms, and managing performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives. The VP will also be responsible for financial management, strategic supplier management, and developing workforce strategies within the IT organization.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the creation of strategy and strategic planning across the enterprise.
  • Orchestrate governance mechanisms to implement business and IT strategy.
  • Define, maintain, and report on metrics tracking IT achievements against objectives.
  • Design and maintain the I&T operating model to execute strategy effectively.
  • Provide transparency to the total portfolio of investment in I&T and enable prioritization of demand.
  • Ensure processes are in place for capturing and distributing IT knowledge across the enterprise.
  • Position the value of I&T and communicate the strategy to stakeholders.
  • Develop, present, and manage the IT budget, ensuring transparency of IT costs.
  • Analyze future IT procurement needs and maintain strategic relationships with vendors.
  • Develop the workforce strategy for the IT organization.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in technology program management, strategy, or management consulting.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Strong financial management skills and general business strategy acumen.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively and drive change across functional areas.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in strategy consulting or financial planning background.
  • Exposure to product development processes and understanding of the product development lifecycle.
