About The Position

American Dental Companies (ADC) is seeking a high-performance, hands-on Vice President of Operations to lead the execution of its multi-site growth strategy. This role is responsible for the operational performance of 40-80+ locations across 15 states, focusing on establishing strong foundational processes, driving growth, and optimizing operations. The position is field-facing, based in Phoenix, AZ, with up to 50% travel to support regional teams by unblocking, optimizing, and accelerating their efforts. ADC differentiates itself from traditional DSOs by operating on a dentist-owned philosophy that prioritizes patient care and clinical autonomy, while providing centralized non-clinical support.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of senior multi-site healthcare operations management experience.
• Proven track record of running operations across a senior multi-unit footprint.
• Experience in healthcare, dental, or adjacent multi-unit consumer services is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing or scaling teams through geographic expansion, with the capability to run a 30+ site footprint.
• Ability to solve complex operational problems by fixing systems and structural processes.
• Comfortable in private equity-backed environments with defined timelines, growth targets, and investor reporting expectations.
• Strong ability to build trust with field leadership and clinical partners while maintaining non-negotiable operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive accountability structures, workflows, and KPIs across all partner locations.
• Establish operating cadences, executive coaching, escalation paths, and day-to-day execution for regional teams.
• Optimize centralized business processes while preserving clinical autonomy at the practice level.
• Partner closely with centralized support teams (payroll, IT, marketing, accounting, insurance/RCM).
• Build and reinforce structures to support continuous geometric expansion in a PE-backed environment.
