About The Position

The Vice President of Operational Excellence will lead operational infrastructure, process improvement, technology implementation, organizational efficiency, compliance initiatives, and internal performance management across the company's residential management platform. This role is focused on internal corporate operations, systems optimization, employee development, organizational scalability, and strategic execution. The position does not include direct responsibility for soliciting association management business, managing client association relationships, or overseeing competitive property management operations within restricted markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in residential property management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial, operational, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven experience in team development and mentorship.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing condominium and cooperative portfolios preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and improve internal operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop scalable operational frameworks across departments.
  • Standardize reporting, KPI tracking, and internal accountability metrics.
  • Improve interdepartmental communication and execution efficiency.
  • Lead implementation and optimization of operational software platforms.
  • Oversee workflow automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate data reporting and operational analytics.
  • Improve cybersecurity, document retention, and operational controls.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to implement leadership training programs.
  • Build onboarding and employee development initiatives.
  • Create operational best-practice manuals and training systems.
  • Support succession planning and organizational scalability.
  • Partner with finance leadership on budgeting processes and operational forecasting.
  • Improve operational cost controls and vendor governance processes.
  • Evaluate operational efficiencies and enterprise resource allocation.
  • Support internal compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with operational audits and risk mitigation programs.
  • Develop internal governance procedures and documentation standards.
  • Assist executive leadership with operational integration of acquisitions or new markets.
  • Conduct operational due diligence and transition planning.
  • Support expansion initiatives from an operational perspective only.
