The Vice President of Career Services (VPCS) has the responsibility of providing leadership and direction to campus level Career Services team members; ensuring high placement rates, coordinate and engage on stackable programs, and community engagement/referral development through all related activities. The VPCS ensures that graduates are prepared with the job search skills necessary to attain employment and that they are employed in their field of study and have the stackable tools and training available to grow their careers. The VPCS works in cooperation with the Education Department, the career services department, and administrative staff to provide placement services and career advancement to graduates and alumni. He/she will analyze and provide feedback on graduate and employer satisfaction based on survey results. The VPCAS should have an educational background and thorough understanding of the institutions programs and curriculum, as well as the employer market and community. He/she should fully support our employers and engage in the communities we serve, including but not limited to assisting in marketing the programs offered throughout the medical community and actively seek additional externship and placement sites for the students.
