Why join the team? - 24/7 emergency/specialty hospital - 12,000 sq ft - CT scanner, diagnostic laboratory, ultrasonography, echocardiography, digital radiology, endoscopy, blood product, donor program - Specialty services include internal medicine, surgery, critical care, cardiology, dentistry and dermatology - Well-established oncology support team - 3 RVTs, 1 vet assistant and an oncology financial coordinator dedicated to oncology - Certified veterinary scribe to help with records - Already established oncology clientele ready to meet their new oncologist - Outstanding rotating internship program - Weekly oncology rounds with the MARS Oncology Advisory Board - Mild inland climate, outdoor activities, mountain biking, hiking, beaches, haven for wine enthusiasts and foodies - Access to a network of specialists within VCA Schedule: Full or Part Time availability.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
  • Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Benefits

  • Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $250-$300k.
