About The Position

Animal Clinic Northview is offering externship opportunities for DVM students seeking hands-on experience in small animal medicine. The program is designed to provide meaningful clinical exposure in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Students will work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, gaining experience in small animal preventive care, general medicine, diagnostic testing, surgery observation, dentistry observation, client communication, and patient education. Externs will participate in daily appointments, observe procedures, engage in case discussions, and develop practical skills.

Requirements

• Current DVM students enrolled in an accredited veterinary school.
• Students interested in companion animal general practice.
• Team-oriented individuals eager to learn in a positive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in small animal medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
