About the position
The Veterinary Hospital Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the veterinary facility. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for both animals and personnel while providing high-quality care and excellent service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the whole of the veterinary clinic.
- Keep up on laundry throughout the day to ensure we always have clean laundry for our patients.
- Help clean up after patients in rooms, runs, and after appointments.
- General housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness of the hospital.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of environmental services practices, including sanitation procedures specific to veterinary settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and vendors.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of the hospital.
- Organization skills to manage your day.
- Willingness to go above and beyond.
