About the position

The Mobile Associate (MA) role at T-Mobile is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and customer service. As brand ambassadors, MAs work within a Retail Team to create excitement around T-Mobile's products and services, ensuring a world-class customer experience. This position serves as a learning opportunity, preparing associates for advancement to the Mobile Expert role by building skills in customer engagement and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
• Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
• Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
• Utilize digital tools to demonstrate T-Mobile's coverage and services to customers.
• Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and new skills.
• Seek out information and learn about innovations in wireless and technology during shifts.
• Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
• Identify and handoff small business leads to appropriate teams.
• Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
• Passionate customer advocate with a desire to connect with customers (Required)
• Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and serving customers (Required)
• Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)
