This 8–12 week internship offers an immersive experience inside the operations of a venture studio, designed for medical students interested in early-stage innovation, new venture creation, and the intersection of entrepreneurship and investment in healthcare. The medical student will gain firsthand exposure to how ideas become companies, how markets are explored and validated, and how the studio supports its portfolio after launch. The intern will have the opportunity to work on either the venture formation side, the portfolio support side, or both – depending on their interests and availability. On the venture formation side, the intern will observe and contribute to how the studio identifies and evaluates new opportunities, from emerging market trends to founder and concept fit. On the portfolio side, they’ll support internal investment activities and portfolio-facing projects, deepening their understanding of how early-stage companies are assessed, tracked, and supported post-launch. Throughout the internship, you will work closely with various members of the leadership team. This structure provides both mentorship and can help expose the intern into the decision-making and strategic priorities that shape new ventures from idea to execution. The experience is ideal for someone curious about the venture ecosystem, eager to build analytical and operational skills, and excited by the pace and ambiguity of early-stage innovation.
