About The Position

Fluid Truck is one of Denver’s premier tech start-up companies and is rapidly scaling across the US with a proven technology platform that provides a more efficient way of connecting businesses & consumers with trucks. Fluid allows people and businesses to connect their vehicles to our platform via Fluid Connect (a piece of hardware) that enables Fluid's mobile app to lock/unlock, track fuel/mileage, and mobilize the engine, making any vehicle easily rentable by other businesses and individuals. We enable businesses to dynamically scale up and down without having to take on more overhead, and we enable owners to generate cash from their existing assets and vehicles purchased for investment. We're facilitating more efficient utilization of vehicles around the country. The Fleet Technician is responsible for keeping a well maintained fleet. You will work closely with sales manager in the market to provide our customers with excellent support. The Fleet Technician is responsible for minor vehicle maintenance and is tasked with maintaining a pipeline of vendors who can provide more detailed maintenance solutions for the local fleet. This position has monthly BONUS potential and is centrally located in Tampa. The Ideal Candidate should be a quick learner in a technology driven (mobile app) environment. You can expect a challenging work environment and should be able to adapt to rapidly changing initiatives. Successful candidates in this role are able to prioritize their work based on the needs of their customers and work closely with the sales manager in the market. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of automotive maintenance and/or repair experience
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean 3 year MVR
  • Must be comfortable using & supporting technology driven products and services including daily usage of our mobile app
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be comfortable in a fast paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new vehicles including attaching decals, installing telematics, printing plates and making sure insurance cards are in the vehicles
  • Pick up and dropping off vehicles at various locations as needed
  • Some minor vehicles maintenance including repairing wiper blades, changing light bulbs, topping off fluids, inspecting tires and cleaning vehicles
  • Record vehicle inspections using our mobile app
  • Coordinate maintenance repairs with vendors
  • Support customers within the market in conjunction with the sales manager by keeping the fleet well maintained
  • Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
