About The Position
We are seeking a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Lansing, Michigan. This hospital-based role involves clinical duties and call coverage, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric patients. The average daily volume is 8 cases, with a case mix including Vascular, Orthopedic, Gynecology, and Urology. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center. This is a supplemental coverage position with an ongoing need, starting as soon as possible.
Requirements
- BC in Interventional Radiology
- Active Michigan Medical License
- BLS, ACLS
- Clean malpractice and license history
- NPDB self-query required

- Travel providers considered if able to cover 2+ weeks per month
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization.
- Provide hospital-based IR services during day shifts (7a-5p, Mon-Fri) and participate in Q3 call rotation covering weekdays and weekends.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs, providing consultation and follow-up care.
- Manage cases involving vascular, orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic conditions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
