About the position

The Value-Based Network Specialist plays a crucial role in implementing a strategic plan to build a preferred provider network within a specific region. This position focuses on establishing strategic relationships with clinicians, hospital networks, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's value-based vision. The specialist is responsible for overseeing network agreements, facilitating collaboration among practices, and driving improvements in clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce Value-based network agreements.
  • Provide expertise on specialist practices.
  • Offer on-site support as needed and provide remote assistance to the regional leadership team.
  • Facilitate collaboration among different practices to drive improvement in risk, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute intervention work plans under the guidance of the Value-Based National Network Manager.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current practices and analyze data related to practice quality measures.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design targeted interventions and monitor plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement workflow design and redesign initiatives to optimize electronic health records (EHR) and enhance clinical documentation.
  • Conduct financial assessments and implement strategies to enhance financial analysis processes.
  • Identify root causes of financial and quality underperformance and develop changes to address these issues.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to address enterprise and regional issues.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with office staff and physicians in assigned regions.
  • Identify, track, and resolve operational and transactional issues between assigned practices and the organization.
  • Develop and maintain the preferred specialist network, managing its performance and expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare administration, business, public health or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Healthcare or physician practice environment.
  • Experience in data analysis, provider relations, or provider experience in a hospital or physician's office or group setting.
  • Experience in network development and clinical integration.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey performance feedback and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerBI, Google, ECW.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Analytical thinking to evaluate regional market trends and identify opportunities.
