About The Position

The Utility Foreman is responsible for overseeing and performing tasks related to wet utility construction, including excavation, installation, and equipment operation. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team and ensure quality production while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate directly with clients
1 year of experience or more with wet utility
Must be able to operate large excavators with precision
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to work in confined spaces
Ability to access secured facilities
High attention to detail

Responsibilities

Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
Installs trench boxes as necessary
Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures
Ensure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed
Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervals
Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job
Manage quality control and production
Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner
