Temporary Utilities Laborer
About The Position
Responsible for maintenance of Water and Wastewater facilities and grounds. This role involves general grounds maintenance, painting, and minor repairs. The position requires the ability to work efficiently under limited supervision, be self-motivated with attention to detail, and accurately follow directions. A valid driver's license is required. The job involves working outside at least 80% of the time with exposure to adverse weather conditions and frequent physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in awkward positions, and the ability to bend, stretch, pull, and lift.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's license required.
- Ability to bend, stretch, pull and lift required.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of hand tools, chain saw, weed eater and other miscellaneous equipment desirable.
- Able to work efficiently under limited supervision.
- Must be self-motivated with attention to detail and able to follow directions accurately.
