(USA) Senior Meat Cutter

About the position

As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources.
• Communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels and controls shrinkage.
• Maintains an indepth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of different meat products.
• Processes meat according to specifications, including cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping meat products.
• Ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
• Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
• Makes immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
• Drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence.
• Maintains a work area according to company policies and procedures.
• Assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Models high quality service and products.
• Interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training them.

Requirements

• 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
