At Walmart, we help people save money, so they can live better. This mission serves as the foundation for every decision we make and drives us to create the future of retail. We can't do that without the best talent - talent that is innovative, curious, and driven to create exceptional experiences for our customers. The Walmart Energy Transformation strategy aims to decarbonize our operations while capturing emerging new value streams that help catalyze societal decarbonization. Walmart has recently committed to bringing 10 GW of clean energy online by 2030, in addition to our publicly stated goals of 50% clean powered by 2025, 100% clean powered by 2035, and zero emissions in our operations by 2040. In addition to new build clean energy assets, we aim to increase energy efficiency and reduce emissions across our facilities and transition our fleet to zero emissions vehicles. We also aim to build a public EV charging network to provide energy choice and affordability for our customers and local communities. We are a team of seasoned energy veterans dedicated to realizing Walmart's regenerative commitments and leveraging Walmart's platform to support the decarbonization of our customers, associates, communities, and suppliers. Because energy touches everything, we work across Walmart, particularly real estate, facilities, supply chain, network design, transportation and customer experience. We have come from across Walmart, utilities, developers, banking, clean energy consulting and environmental NGOs. We are innovators and change agents determined to make an impact. We are analytical and entrepreneurial; thoughtful and practical. The Senior Manager, Renewable Energy is responsible for supporting the execution and management of day to day and long-term, strategic partnerships with renewable energy developers to secure programmatic access to renewable energy globally across Walmart's geographic footprint.
