Responsibilities

  • Initiate and direct community outreach programs.
  • Encourage associates and managers to serve as good community members.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key community individuals or groups.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Hold hourly associates accountable and analyze reports.
  • Implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls.
  • Oversee safety and operational reviews.
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provide direction and guidance on executing company programs.
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
  • Assist store manager in driving financial performance.
  • Review and evaluate Profit Loss statements.
  • Control expenses to ensure they are indexed to sales.
  • Coordinate job-related activities and assignments.
  • Build accountability and measure progress in achieving results.
  • Support company mission, values, and standards of ethics.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
