(USA) Operations Manager (Non-Complex)

About the position

The position involves initiating, directing, and participating in community outreach programs, encouraging associates and managers to serve as good members of the community. This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups, representing the company to various external organizations, and championing company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts. The role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing safety controls, and maintaining quality assurance standards. It also involves providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, managing customer service initiatives, and assisting the store manager in driving financial performance. The position requires coordination of job-related activities, building accountability, and promoting continuous learning while ensuring compliance with company values and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and direct community outreach programs.
• Encourage associates and managers to serve as good community members.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key community individuals or groups.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Hold hourly associates accountable and analyze reports.
• Implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls.
• Oversee safety and operational reviews.
• Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies.
• Provide direction and guidance on executing company programs.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
• Assist store manager in driving financial performance.
• Review and evaluate Profit Loss statements.
• Control expenses to ensure they are indexed to sales.
• Coordinate job-related activities and assignments.
• Build accountability and measure progress in achieving results.
• Support company mission, values, and standards of ethics.

Requirements

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
