About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Responsibilities include touring stores and providing feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, and introducing and leading company change efforts. The role also emphasizes exceptional customer service standards, managing customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs and complaints are successfully resolved. Additionally, the position drives financial performance and sales by managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, while also ensuring effective merchandise presentation and operational processes. The role includes hiring, training, and mentoring associates, promoting a culture of belonging, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position requires building high-performing teams, maintaining integrity, and delivering results while putting customers first.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
• Communicates and collaborates with associates regarding store operations and company direction.
• Models exceptional customer service standards and manages customer service initiatives.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing and evaluating Profit and Loss statements.
• Manages budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in designated business area.
• Ensures effective merchandise presentation and operational processes.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
• Coordinates job-related activities and oversees assignments.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Builds high-performing teams and embraces diversity.

Requirements

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
• Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
