About the position

The position involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Responsibilities include touring stores and providing feedback, communicating and collaborating with associates regarding store operations, and introducing and leading company change efforts. Financial performance and sales management are key aspects, including reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink. Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and listening to associates.
  • Tour stores and provide feedback to improve operations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with associates on store operations and business initiatives.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
  • Manage customer service initiatives and resolve customer complaints.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements and managing budgets.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support company values.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms.
  • Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.
