About the position

As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service while creating beautiful and high-quality bakery products. This role involves collaborating with team members, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and leveraging technology to enhance the shopping experience. You will also play a key role in managing the bakery area, driving performance, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance member service and educate associates on bakery tools and tasks.
• Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs.
• Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with various decorating tools to create bakery items.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment while demonstrating product knowledge.
• Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve any issues or concerns they may have.
• Act as a brand advocate, modeling high-quality service and products in the bakery.

Requirements

• 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
