About the position

As a Cake Decorator at Walmart, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service in the bakery area. Your role involves collaborating with team members to meet member expectations, ensuring high-quality bakery products, and maintaining food safety standards. You will also leverage technology to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales while acting as a brand ambassador for the bakery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools and tasks.
• Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy in decorative designs.
• Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with various decorating tools.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and inventory management.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment while ensuring sanitation.
• Drive performance in the bakery area, managing quality and waste control.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve any issues they may have.
• Model high-quality service and products as a brand advocate.

Requirements

• 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
