About the position
The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking full-time faculty members to join as academic Urogynecologists. The role involves providing clinical and surgical care for women with pelvic floor disorders, participating in the education of fellows, residents, and medical students, and engaging in research to advance the field of Urogynecology.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding clinical and surgical care to women with pelvic floor disorders.
- Participate in the education of Urogynecology fellows, OB/GYN residents, and medical students.
- Engage in scholarly activities and research to advance the field of Urogynecology.
- Provide consultation and surgical services at UChicago's main campus and River East location.
- Teach and supervise trainees and students.
Requirements
- Medical doctorate or equivalent.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Eligibility or board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Urology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
