About the position

The Urgent Care Area Medical Director at CareNow Urgent Care will lead the management team in the Nashville market, focusing on delivering high-quality care and service. This role combines clinical responsibilities with administrative duties, requiring strong leadership skills to motivate peers and build a highly functioning team. The director will work closely with the Market Medical Director to implement strategic policies for growth and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the urgent care team under the direction of the Market Medical Director.
• Motivate peers to achieve high levels of care and service.
• Build and maintain a highly functioning team.
• Assess the current market and implement strategic policies for growth.
• Enhance provider performance and ensure clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with the Market Medical Director and team members to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements

• Residency in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy program.
• Experience in an urgent care or similar setting.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Urgent care and occupational medicine experience.
• Eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Tennessee.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds.
