About The Position

The Blake School seeks a skilled and passionate part-time low strings sectional coach to support the Upper School orchestra program from September 2026-May 2027 . This position leads twice-monthly sectional/masterclasses for cello and/or double bass students on Blake’s Upper School campus in Minneapolis. Requirements

• Experience teaching low strings to high school students (grades 9-12)
• Expertise in strings pedagogy , rehearsal planning and implementation
• Experience teaching both small groups and one-on-one instruction
• BA/BM required; MM preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty and administrators
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities
