About the position
View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions. View Point Health's Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit program (Lawrenceville, GA) provides psychiatric crisis intervention and stabilization services to Adults. The Adult CSU operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Responsibilities
- Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
- Develops, coordinates, and implements the instruction or training of clients and/or students in a specific area of assignment as part of a program that includes an organized agenda of practical and workforce readiness instruction.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Practical Instructor 3 (EDT012) or position equivalent.
