About the position
The Unified Communications Engineer at CDW is responsible for providing expert-level knowledge and support in Unified Communications technologies. This role involves training team members, collaborating with partners to develop training materials, and serving as a subject matter expert in various Unified Communications categories. The engineer will also engage in thought leadership activities, respond to technical inquiries, and contribute to the onboarding of new hires, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify team and account manager training needs on Unified Communications.
- Collaborate with partners to define, develop, and deliver training material.
- Explain features, benefits, and technical specifications of new products and solutions.
- Compare and contrast secondary, emerging, and complementary products and solutions.
- Drive thought leadership activities including white papers, webinars, and seminars.
- Share knowledge with Inside Solution Architects and Account Managers regarding competing products and solutions.
- Coach and provide feedback to team members to improve their technical skills.
- Onboard new hires and serve as a subject matter expert in a domain area.
- Respond to technical questions in RFPs or contribute to content for value-add.
Requirements
- Must have active DoD Top Secret clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- 10+ years of Unified Communications experience
- Demonstrated Unified Communications design experience
