The Unarmed Security Officer position at Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group involves providing security services at a premier client site in Los Lunas, NM. Responsibilities

• Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
• Maintaining the visitor management system and checking visitors and guests.
• Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs.
• Monitoring a CCTV system.
• Conducting vehicle and foot patrols of the interior and exterior.
• Checking in authorized personnel onsite.
• Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer.
• Interacting with the public in a direct and professional manner.

Requirements

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement security (such as Military Police, Security Police, or Corrections).
• Must have a valid New Mexico security license or the ability to attain one.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 2 or more years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general discharge.
• Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service.
• 3 years of verifiable private/corporate security experience/corporate customer service.
