About the position

The Unarmed Security Officer-FLEX position at BlackStone Security Group involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and their guests in Charlotte, NC. The role requires a highly motivated and reliable individual to patrol premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and report suspicious activities, ensuring the safety of clients and their assets.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Nice-to-haves

• NC Unarmed Security Guard Registration (PPSB).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security and customer service industry.
• Experience with surveillance equipment and access control systems.
