About the position

The Ultrasound Supervisor manages all clinical and non-clinical operations of the Ultrasound department, including staff oversight, workflow coordination, and accreditation compliance. This role develops and implements policies aligned with industry standards and organizational goals. Under the direction of a radiologist, performs advanced ultrasound imaging procedures independently, applying sound judgment and technical expertise to ensure accurate diagnostic results. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage all clinical and non-clinical operations of the Ultrasound department.
• Oversee staff and coordinate workflow.
• Ensure accreditation compliance.
• Develop and implement policies aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
• Perform advanced ultrasound imaging procedures independently under the direction of a radiologist.
• Apply sound judgment and technical expertise to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years Ultrasound experience.
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Certification.
• Completion of formal training from an AMA approved school.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior supervisory experience.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification.
