About the position
The Tumor Registrar role at MaineHealth is a fully remote position responsible for the identification, collection, and management of health, medical, and outcome information on all oncology patients. This includes abstracting and coding specific patient, cancer, and treatment information from various sources and maintaining and updating existing patient records annually. A current Oncology Data Specialist Certificate is required for this position.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Biomedical, Medical Technician, or Medical Records or equivalent work experience in medical coding or cancer registry required.
- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Certification required.
- Relevant healthcare experience preferred.
