About The Position
Kemira is a global leader in sustainable chemistry for water-intensive industries. We are now looking for an experienced Regional Truck Driver to support our Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IN. Kemira's Industry & Water segment enables our customers to improve their water treatment efficiency by providing value adding support and high performing chemicals.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-years of experience driving tractor trailer
- Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank preferred
- Commercial drivers license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required
- Clean driving record (2.0 points or less)
- Basic math skills
- Thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Customer service orientation
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank
Responsibilities
- Delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers
- Loading and unloading tankers
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Complying with federal, state and local regulations in regards to the safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials.
