About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $76,232 annually. $5,000 retention bonus. Monday through Friday. Home daily. Hazmat endorsement required. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers. Unload using pallet jacks. Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- The associate must be able to see and hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle

Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to customers
- Unload using pallet jacks
- Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
