Truck Driver - Class A - $7500 Retention Bonus - Penske Logistics

About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to perform multi-stop deliveries of sheet metal parts. The position requires unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products as they are unloaded and delivered. Drivers will typically have an average of 15 to 20 stops per week and will be driving late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, including sleeper cabs.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of sheet metal parts
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• Average 15 to 20 stops per week

Requirements

• CDL Class A required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specific location required
• Complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
• English language proficiency required
