About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average $87000 annually. Home daily. Excellent health care coverage-medical, dental, and vision. Flexible start‑time requirement. You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all. Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. Consistently manages an average workload of 10 to 15 stops per week. Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. Home daily. Schedule: 5‑day work week. Flexibility required.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
  • Consistently manages an average workload of 10 to 15 stops per week.
  • Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
  • Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
