About the position
Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. This position offers an average annual salary of $71,344 and allows drivers to be home daily. The role involves performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products as they are unloaded and delivered. Drivers will typically make 4 stops per route and work Monday through Friday with an 8 PM start time, averaging 50 hours per week. Penske provides late model, well-maintained trucks designed for comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload the trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Complete 4 stops per route
Requirements
- CDL Class A required
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Ability to work the required schedule and location
- Complete Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
