About the position

The Customer Service Representative at TRIO BP is responsible for maintaining high food safety standards while preparing and serving food to customers. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and promoting sales while adhering to company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the customer experience by maintaining a friendly positive attitude.
  • Drive store food service sales with an outgoing personality.
  • Treat each customer as a guest in the store.
  • Maintain all food service-related certifications and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment and follow procedures for food preparation and presentation.
  • Assist with the display, stocking, and signage of products throughout the store.
  • Inspect all food items to ensure proper temperature and freshness.
  • Maintain the quality of all food items.
  • Assist managers with administrative tasks, including food service inventory discrepancies research and reconciliation.
  • Maintain high standards in store cleanliness, layouts, displays, and stocking according to plan-o-grams.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including dishwashing and sweeping.
  • Work safely with high-temperature equipment using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative to set an example for other employees.
  • Sustain good communication with customers, managers, fellow employees, and vendors.
  • Be responsible and proactive in shift duties and responsibilities, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Identify and resolve site issues and problems in a timely manner.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions using the POS register system.

Requirements

  • Ability to be a leader and a team player.
  • Passion for customer service with exceptional people skills.
  • Previous food service experience strongly preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification required.
  • Serve Safe certification preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and run a cash register.
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to support food service programs and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
