About The Position

Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Delivers direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards. Conducts patient assessments, devises care plans, and assists in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. Educates patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. Collaborates closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Administers medications, performs IV therapy, and maintains accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. Upholds infection control protocols and maintains a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
  • Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
  • Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
