About the position
The Paraeducator III position at Snoqualmie Valley School District is primarily instructional, working under the direction of a certified teacher within a Special Education self-contained setting. Responsibilities
- Assist certified teachers in delivering instructional support to Special Education students.
- Work individually or in small groups with students to enhance their learning experience.
- Support students with behavior management and personal hygiene issues.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for high-needs students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must meet WA State Paraeducator requirements, including passing the ETS ParaPro assessment, holding an associate degree, or having earned at least 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an accredited institution.
- Must provide a copy of high school diploma or transcripts upon hire.
