About the position

The Operations Analyst for the HSA Custodian Operations accounts team at WEX Health is responsible for providing custody services for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) on behalf of partner organizations. This role involves account opening and maintenance, ensuring compliance with the Customer Identification Program (CIP), and responding to partner service requests. The analyst will also handle tax reporting, escheatment processing, and consumer inquiries, while monitoring reporting and updating procedure documents.

Responsibilities

• Partner account setup and maintenance
• Partner compliance with account opening responsibilities
• Respond to partner service requests
• Tax reporting
• Escheatment processing
• Respond to consumer inquiries over the phone
• Fulfill responsibilities related to the Consumer Identification Program (CIP)
• Monitor reporting
• Provide feedback on and update procedure documents
• Monitor and notify partners of overdrafts

Requirements

• Experience working within a large organization, preferably within the Financial Services industry (preferably 1 year)
• Some understanding of the Custody Services Business
• Experience of working within a control function or in close partnership with control functions (preferably 1 year)
• Experience of working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
