About The Position

The Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG) is accepting applications for an as-needed TRAX Operator in Titus County. This position is responsible for providing transportation services to individuals, including persons with disabilities, in a safe and timely manner. The operator will also be responsible for operating and maintaining the TRAX vehicles. This role is to fill in when regular drivers are absent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of vehicle operations.
• Must pass a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) approved drug test and criminal records check.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vehicle operation.
• Must possess verbal, people skills.
• Ability to think through situations and deal with problems constructively.
• Ability to deal with stress.
• Must be self-motivated with a clean driving record.
• Ability to see, hear, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
