The Traveling Floor Tech Crew position at ABM Industries involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks for building floors across multiple locations. This role requires individuals to travel overnight for extended periods, ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The position offers on-the-job training, making it accessible to candidates without prior experience or specific educational qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours.
• Drives vehicles to perform assigned scheduled work, if required.
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures, including tabletops and chairs.
• Services, deep cleans, and supplies restrooms.
• Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or using hand trucks.
• May remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments, including a ten-year work history if available.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
• Must be willing to travel overnight on the road for a week at a time.
