About the position

Cascade Environmental, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. We offer competitive pay starting at $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, with no experience required. For those with a CDL A, the starting pay is $26.00 per hour. Our employees enjoy 2 weeks of paid vacation, 7 paid holidays, and a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave. There is great potential for overtime, and we provide great benefits at minimal cost to the employee. Additionally, we offer project-based bonuses and performance-based merit increases, along with an employee referral bonus of $2,000. We also reimburse employees for attending CDL Training School and provide pay increases after obtaining a CDL A. Our Sacramento location requires travel 70-80% of the time, but employees will be home most nights. Travel is within Northern California, Northern Nevada, Central Valley, and the Bay area. Projects typically operate on a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekend and night shifts depending on project requirements. Workdays may range from 10 to 12 hours, and occasional weekend travel may be required. Traveling employees will receive a private hotel room at no cost and per diem. Prior experience with sonic, auger, rotary, or direct push rigs is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive, operate, and maintain drill rigs, vehicles, forklifts, skid-steers, and other equipment
  • Work outdoors year-round within two or three-person crews
  • Solve problems and work productively in a team
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections
  • Perform physical labor, shoveling drilling debris, and transporting materials using proper lifting techniques
  • Maintain all required certifications and training
  • Safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Negative drug test
  • Satisfactory results of a background check
  • Possessing a valid Driver's License for the state of residence
  • Obtaining and maintaining an interstate DOT Medical Card
  • Passing a HAZWOPER physical
  • Verifying legal right to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA)
  • Wearing respiratory protection as specified by site-specific Health and Safety Plan

  • Prior experience working with sonic, auger, rotary or direct push rigs
