About the position
The Traveling Clinical Restoration Nurse (RN) position at Centers Health Care involves supporting nursing homes in various locations through extensive overnight travel. The role focuses on conducting clinical audits, identifying areas for clinical improvement, and implementing systemic restorations to enhance quality of care. The nurse will report findings to key facility personnel and maintain a strong emphasis on quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform functions as delineated under the scope of practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Conduct clinical audits as directed and correct findings as applicable
- Identify areas of clinical improvement and develop systemic restoration to correct identified areas
- Maintain focus on quality improvement
- Report findings to the facility Director of Nursing, Facility Administrator, Clinical Restoration Team Leader or designee
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience as an RN in a skilled nursing environment
- Prior nursing management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Point Click Care Electronic
- Active RN license in good standing
- Excellent attention to detail; ability to function independently with minimal oversight
- Strong level of accountability
