About the position
The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will provide specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures. This role involves monitoring vital signs and ensuring the comfort and safety of both inpatient and outpatient individuals during their recovery process. Responsibilities
- Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient needs during recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid RN License required.
- Experience in patient monitoring is preferred.
