About the position

The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is responsible for providing specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns. This role involves connecting infants to necessary medical technology, administering intravenous feeding, and educating new mothers about their baby's health and care. The position requires working under the supervision of a physician and is designed for nurses who are passionate about neonatal care and are looking for travel opportunities across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns in the NICU.
  • Connect newborns to medical technology that assists with breathing and feeding.
  • Administer intravenous feeding to newborns to support weight gain.
  • Educate new mothers about their baby's condition and care, including breastfeeding.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for newborns.

Requirements

  • Current RN License required.
