About the position
The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurses (CVICU RNs) are responsible for providing critical care to patients with potentially life-threatening heart conditions. This role involves close monitoring of patients, effective communication with healthcare professionals, and performing various medical tasks to ensure patient safety and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients with life-threatening heart conditions.
- Monitor and observe changes in patients' conditions.
- Analyze patient charts and medical data.
- Change bandages and perform necessary medical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Experience in critical care or cardiovascular nursing preferred.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a travel nursing role.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
