About the position
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technician to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. This role involves working in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and outpatient centers, and requires the technician to prepare patients for X-rays, operate X-ray technology, and process films for radiologists and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other radiologic procedures.
- Operate X-ray technology and other imaging equipment such as CTs and MRIs.
- Process films for radiologists and physicians.
- Handle patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Work in various healthcare settings including hospitals, outpatient centers, and imaging centers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an X-ray technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
